These new models are also based on the new Desktop Video 10 design so they include RGB frame buffers, low latency and of course can capture and playback at the same time with software that supports this feature. On Set Acquisition

Connecting to Live Production Switchers
Connecting to live production switchers is easy. If you’re using DeckLink as a media player then you can run title software or animations in RGB using the DeckLink 4K Extreme model and output fill and key on the dual link SDI outputs. Each link can be connected to two switcher inputs, and the server can use the fill and key internally, to key these graphics live. The included Photoshop plug in also supports RGB graphics and alpha channels in your Photoshop graphics so you can update titles instantly for urgent on air graphics. DeckLink is also perfect for live streaming production switcher program outputs. Simply connect the switcher program or aux output to the DeckLink input and run your favorite streaming software.
