Sony introduces the PXW-Z300, a powerful new 4K XDCAM camcorder eqipped with a flexible LCD-Arm, a Side V-Mount, three independent lens control rings, and four-channel audio input.

The PXW-Z300 showcases advanced Sony digital imaging technologies, including three 1/2-type 4K Exmor R® CMOS image sensors with the power-packed BIONZ XR™ image processing engine, and the AI Processing Unit that enhances high-performance shooting at 4K60p with Subject Recognition AF.

You’re in control with pro-friendly functions like three independent rings for adjusting focus, zoom and iris, plus the Flexible LCD Arm that supports any shooting style. Smooth, intuitive operability is further enhanced by the Side V-Mount for quick and easy attachment of accessories.

Maximise the credibility, efficiency and immediacy of your content. Transfer files or stream video via cloud services and on-premise servers, enabling fast distribution to OTT/OTA platforms.

Achieve your desired look

Fine-tune your footage by adjusting parameters such as black levels, colour matrices and other settings. S-Cinetone, ITU709, and 709tone looks are available as presets for shooting in SDR (BT.709), plus HLG Live, HLG Mild, and HLG Natural as presets for HDR (HLG), allowing easy colour matching with other Sony cameras. In addition to these built-in looks, you can also import custom 3D LUTs to apply your own unique look, enabling flexible and consistent visual expression across different shooting environments.

Ensuring video authenticity

By addressing video authenticity* in compliance with C2PA format, Sony will support the credibility of video footage used in news gathering and field reporting.
