The Vinten Vision 8AS Pozi-Loc Carbon Fiber Tripod System features a 100mm fluid head, 2-stage carbon fiber tripod with mid-level spreader, and a soft padded carrying case. The head supports loads up to 30.9 pounds and utilizes Vinten’s Perfect Balance counterbalance system and LF drag technology, which combines an adjustable friction system with a lubricant fluid for fine adjustment of pan and tilt drag. It comes equipped with a side-loading quick release plate and a pan handle.
Combined with the 2-stage, 100mm bowl, carbon fiber, Pozi-Loc tripod, the Vision 8AS system has a height range of 22.6 to 67.9″. Enhanced tripod stability is provided via the included mid-level spreader that holds the legs in position. The system folds down to 40.4″ for storage in the included padded carrying case.

Its flexibility means that it can cope with uneven terrain and its hinged construction enables it to fold with the tripod. Quick release straps ensure that it can be easily installed or removed if required.

Vinten 3781-3 Spread-Loc Mid-Level Spreader with Rubber Feet
The 3781-3 Spread-Loc Mid-Level Spreader with Rubber Feet from Vinten is a fully adjustable, geared mid-level spreader controlled by a single-lock knob. The arms are individually extendable to provide a large spreader radius and facilitate use on uneven ground. The Spread-Loc spreader may be installed on any tripod with Spread-Loc attachment points. It fits all Pozi-Loc 75, 100, and 150mm bowl tripods and Torque-Safe ENG tripods (from October 2001).
