The Saramonic SR-WM4C VHF Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System provides an easy-to-use, plug-and-play audio solution that delivers quality-sounding speech and dialog for budget-conscious vloggers, mobile journalists, and videographers.
The lightweight, portable SR-WM4C includes a bodypack transmitter and a WM4C-M1 lavalier microphone with a locking mini-XLR connector for a solid connection. The mic can be clipped to clothing, close to the speaker’s mouth, for a clear, present sound—far superior to the sound you get from the camera’s built-in mic when shooting video.
The camera-mount receiver’s output plugs right into the audio input on your camera or recording device using the supplied 3.5mm coiled cable. A wide selection of optional output cables (available separately) allows you to connect the receiver to smartphones and tablets, action cameras, or computers.
The system offers a range of 197′ and four selectable VHF frequencies, which provides options for finding a clear channel in case of signal interference. The transmitter and receiver each run on two AA batteries for up to 5 hours of shooting time.
The receiver features a headphone output with a volume-control wheel, great for real-time monitoring of your mic when your camera does not have a headphone jack.
